Red Horizon: Cold War Command · Effective September 27, 2026

Overview

Red Horizon: Cold War Command ("the game") is a single-player real-time strategy game for Android, developed and published by Fox Valley Digital ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is involved when you play it. The game has no accounts, no sign-in and no chat, and we do not receive your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.

In short: your progress stays on your device. Google AdMob shows ads and collects data to do so (you can control ad personalization). Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports can be switched off in the game. Purchases are handled by Google Play and verified through RevenueCat.

Data stored on your device

Your settings, campaign progress, commander rank, medals, saved battles and the packs you own are stored locally on your device so you can continue where you left off. If Android's own backup is turned on, Android may include this data in your personal Google backup; that backup is controlled by you and Google. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android settings or by uninstalling the game.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: occasional full-screen ads between battles (never during one) and optional ads you can choose to watch for a Double XP bonus or to try Veteran Start for one battle. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares with Google:

  • your device's advertising ID and App Set ID,
  • your IP address, which can indicate your approximate location,
  • ad interactions (for example which ads were shown or tapped),
  • diagnostic information such as app performance and crash data related to ads.

All of this is sent encrypted. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where it is required, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown; you can change your choice at any time in the game under Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Ads are limited to content rated for teens and older. Learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

Usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase)

To find and fix bugs and to understand how the game is played, the game uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. They collect anonymous gameplay events (for example that a battle started or ended, or that a medal was earned), crash and error reports with technical details about your device and app version, and random installation identifiers. This information is not used to identify you, is sent encrypted, and is processed by Google on our behalf. You can turn it off at any time in the game under Settings → Share usage data. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy (https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy).

Purchases (Google Play and RevenueCat)

Optional one-time packs (such as Remove Ads) are sold through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play; we never see your card or payment details. We use RevenueCat to confirm purchases and let you restore them on a new device. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user ID, your purchase history for this game and basic device information (such as the app version and country from the store). It is not linked to your name or email by us. See revenuecat.com/privacy (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy).

Permissions

  • Internet and network state: to load ads, verify purchases and send usage statistics and crash reports. The game itself is fully playable offline.
  • Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob as described above.
  • Billing: to buy packs through Google Play.
  • Vibration: optional haptic feedback, which you can turn off in the game's settings.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads in the game are limited to content suitable for teens and older.

Your choices and deleting your data

  • Progress and settings on your device: uninstall the game, or open Android Settings → Apps → Red Horizon → Storage → Clear storage. This deletes your campaign progress, rank, medals, saved battles and settings. Packs you bought stay tied to your Google Play account and can be restored.
  • Ads: change your ad consent at any time in the game under Settings → Ad privacy choices, and reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your phone).
  • Usage statistics and crash reports: turn them off in the game under Settings → Share usage data, and nothing more is sent. What was already sent is stored only under random installation IDs and is deleted automatically: crash reports after 90 days and detailed usage statistics within 14 months.

Ask us to delete your data

Email info@foxvalleydigital.com with the subject "Red Horizon data deletion". The game has no accounts, so the only records we can link to you are purchase records held by RevenueCat. Include the Google Play order number of your purchase (it starts with "GPA." and is in the receipt email from Google Play) so we can find them. We delete them within 30 days and confirm by email. We keep only what the law requires, such as tax records of sales. Google Play keeps its own order history, which you manage in your Google Account.

If you never bought anything, we hold nothing that identifies you. Uninstalling the game and resetting your advertising ID removes the link between you and the anonymous data described above.
